In 2024, NAV Fund Services introduced several key updates to our platform, all designed to make a big difference in our clients’ day-to-day operations. From launching E-Subscription to simplify investor onboarding, to creating Data Room and Project Studio to support fund marketing and project management tasks, we focused on making processes more efficient and user-friendly. For our iOS users, we added Biometric Authentication to enable simpler secure logins. We also gave our website a fresh, intuitive look to help both current and prospective clients more easily find information about our services.

Here’s a quick overview of the major initiatives the NAV technology team accomplished over the past year:

Embraced Automation and AI

We made major progress in automating our internal processes by using technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We reduced repetitive tasks, improved accuracy, and made our workflows smarter. These improvements not only saved time, but also helped us provide faster and better services to our clients.

Built a Scalable and High-Performance Platform

To meet growing client demands, we improved system scalability and robustness through an Architectural Overhaul and Cloud Infrastructure Optimization. We Enhanced Performance, added Load Balancing and Redundancy for uninterrupted availability, and introduced Continuous Monitoring. These upgrades reinforce consistently reliable and fast services, even as demand increases.

Strengthened Security and Compliance

At NAV Fund Services, security remains our top priority. In 2024, we achieved major milestones in oursecurity and compliance efforts:

  • SOC2 Certification: Earned SOC2 certification, underscoring our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance across a broad range of data management practices, including security, availability, and processing integrity
  • DLP Implementation: Successfully deployed Data Loss Prevention systems to safeguard sensitive data
  • SSO Integration: Integrated Single Sign-On to enhance access management and user convenience
  • RMS Implementation: Deployed Rights Management Services to reinforce data protection
  • NAV SOC Team: Established an in-house Security Operations Center (SOC) team, enabling proactive threat management and robust incident response capabilities, significantly enhancing our ability to monitor and mitigate potential threats in real time
  • Advanced Methods: Including the adoption of Active Directory Integration, to streamline and secure access management
  • Periodic Vulnerability Assessments: Combined with prompt issue resolution, further reinforced our security posture to support a resilient, trusted platform for our team and clients

None of this would have been possible without the dedication, creativity, and teamwork of the NAV technology team. Our global team of 300+ members includes software engineers, cybersecurity experts, and disaster recovery specialists. Every innovation we delivered this past year was powered by their hard work and commitment to the ongoing development of new features, improved functionality, and vital security to provide optimal client and investor experiences.
